"I joined the Freak Faktory brotherhood shortly after my senior season of high school football. I have always had aspirations of becoming a college football player. Although this goal of mine was becoming a reality just before I started training here, there is nobody I would rather have prepare me for my first season as a college football player. "My freshman year of college I needed surgery on my rotator cuff and labrum. As a softball player, I knew that this was not good news and I was told the recovery process would be long. After 7 months of recovery I was the weakest I have ever been, and I had no idea where to start when it came to getting stronger. I was to the point where physical therapy wasn’t going to get me any stronger, but I was in no shape to handle going back to playing. A friend referred me to Freak Faktory, and I was intimidated at first but I knew I had to do something. I’m not sure that Hunter knew what he was getting into when he agreed to train me, but I went in with ZERO knowledge of how to do anything. Hunter took the time to make sure that I was doing things right, and wrote me a program that not only made my shoulder stronger, but the rest of my body as well. Hunter taught me to trust the process and I not only saw significant results after the summer, but I also learned so much about training and how to do things right. I was challenged both physically and mentally, and looked forward to going back after every workout. Now I am half way through my season, and I am stronger than I was before, and know the correct techniques. I can’t wait to go back this summer to train!"
